Yup, the Apache rocks hard. Been using one for a year, and none of the new PPC's out impress me enough to upgrade. As previously stated, good move; it's a great phone.

After you get it, check out the Upgrades forum; it has a lot of good stuff, including an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6! I'm running it right now, and I gotta say--it's awesome.

The only big advantage the 6700 has over the mogul or 6800 on verizon is the fact that there isn't that many upgrades as far as rom's go, but the programs are still there.

I went from a Treo 650 ((PalmOS) whose screen cracked when dropped (go figure)) to a 700w (which I was jazzed about for the 1st week) to a 6700 (which I've had for about 6mnths and am still digging it quite a bit).

The 700w was so crammed with Palm-proprietary crap that upon bootup, I had ~10Meg free of memory to run programs. I was constantly 'killing' apps that retreated to the background. The dialpad was fugly and could not be skinned (that I knew of)...Due to it's limitations, I decided to sell on eBay, and trade up to the 6700. That move was the best move in terms of value and enjoyment out of a phone I have ever made.

6700 is Great!

I have a 6700 and I absolutely love mine. I have it all tricked out thanks to Helmi_C and all the fine folks.

I did notice that a preliminary kitchen is now available for the 6800/Titan, which could be very interesting down the line.

I am in the process of reading how to put WM6 on my 6700. I have a few more questions: How can I make the landscape background different from my normal background? What is the best case?
