HAve anyone successfully use wifi through a D-link router?

I've been trying to understand the setting of my router DI-624 (D-link router). and yet I still can't connect my PPc6700 to use wifi.

I did it with a linksys router at work, it's much easier... as for the D-link it's so complicate...

Super G Mode
Extended Range Mode
WMM Function
802.11g Only Mode
SSID Broadcast
etc...

Have anyone got connected to a D-link router? If yes, do you have any hint or direction for me?

-------------------
Correct me if I'm wrong... All I have to do is
turn on: Wireless Radio
and then set up SSID and a Password
After that on the phone, I go to Network Adapter setting and set the correct key, right?

I have a few questions thou:
what's Authetication? Open, shared or WPA?
Data Encryption: WEP or Disable?
and what's IEEE 802.1x network access control? should I enable it or not?

I had the same setting
my PPC 6700 reconized it, but it can't never connect to it...
Is there anything I should do on the PPC 6700?

Also, I think the router is using DNS to connect to it, where on the PPC 6700 that I can setup these DNS address?
do you enable these?
Super G Mode
Extended Range Mode
WMM Function
802.11g Only Mode
SSID Broadcast

connected fine with my d-link. if any other wifi device can connect, then your ppc should do the same.

you guys make me want to throw my PPC away
ok, on this computer (the one I'm using right now) I'm connected to the router with a cable... but to make the internet work, I need to setup some DNS IP addresses
I think is the same problem with my PPC
because before, I was using a wireless laptop and I got the same problem until I setup the DNS

is there a place in the PPC to setup the DNS?

What internet provider, sure your key is the same on the ppc and wireless access point?

When you set-up your router, try chosing WEP instead of WPA and see if you could connect your ppc to it.

The 6700 uses 11b (not g or anything faster) so make sure it's not on g only or it won't connect.
