When I've had this happen, I just deleted the relationship on the broken PC and then recreated it... You will likely loose changes on your phone to the Outlook based data since the last good sync, so you might want to do a SPB Backup on your phone first, just in case...

That should clear the issue. A good rule to follow especially after flashing a new ROM is to delete the existing device in activesync and start the sync again from scratch. I kind of think of it as a "soft reset" for activesync, and it fixes most sync errors. It's also a good idea to check the Tools/options/settings in activesync on "work" replace item on desktop, and not sync time and date.

well, booger. I tried your suggestions (thanks btw) when I just got back into work this morning and no luck. I've deleted the relationship a few times. I actually renamed the device so I could completely start fresh and no luck. I'm finding that it won't even create a My Docs folder for the device name. Maybe that has something to do with it but I've never experienced that before. Any ideas? So, the notes, favorites, and files are the only things that show "Attention Required". Thanks again for your help.

I have been plagued with the "Attention Required" for the past 3 years, but only for my "notes", everything else syncs fine. Another reason why i gave up on syncing my notes. Nothing I tried, and i tried everything, could get my notes to sync.

- remove all the items from the device and then remove all the items from the computer (save them somewhere else)
- sync (at this point there is nothing actually there to sync so no reason why it wouldnt), if at this point its still not syncing than you need to delete the partnership on the phone and the computer and rebuild it - add the items back one at a time until you find out whats corrupt (if anything). Everything will sync, but if something becomes corrupt you may need to just do something as simple as cutting content out of the corrupt file and make a new file with the same name.

Another possibility you might check out (I had something similar that was fixed via the following):
On your PPC, go to Settings; Connections and select USB to PC. Uncheck "Enable advanced network functionality". Reset and sync. With the ROMs created with the latest Kitchens, I've been able to sync with this item selected, but I know it makes a difference. You can always reselect it if it doesn't work or makes it worse. I also had this issue when trying to sync w/MSOffice 2007 and went back to 2003 because of it- but that was when I was using WM5... so that's probably not it.

UnEnable advanced network functionality
I had to uncheck this one myself, but only because one of my PCs would blue screen whenever I disconnected during a sync operation... Don't know why, and it never happened on my other PC, but it fixed the problem...

Well, I tried the unchecking of the "Enable..." but no luck. I'll try what dprout69 recommended next. That takes a little more time so maybe later today. I'll report back what I find out.
