PPC6700 and WM6 connection sharing..does not receive..

When I have it on internet connection sharing it only sends out and doesn't receive any data...Am I doing something wrong? I have the latest version of Activesync for XP it works just fine in vista.

What method of connection sharing are you using? I assume you mean the ICS USB version?

Does XP have a *current* version of activesync installed on it, and can you use it (guest mode is fine) to browse the ppc when its connected?

Oddly enough, I just finished upgrading to a new linux laptop, and was able to get the old USB modem version (where you "dial" #777 from the computer) to work just dandy under linux. Much to my unending joy.

My home cable modem died last week. My PPC-6700 stays cradled with a USB connection to my XP PC, so I figured, what the heck, and turned on ICS on my phone. Within five seconds I was connected to the Internet and surfing away.

If you are tethering via USB, try turning Bluetooth on the phone off.
