Upgraded to 3.3 last night. Didnt realize helmi's WM6 rom existed.

Upgraded to 3.3 last night. Didnt realize helmi's WM6 rom existed. now i want his rom but cant upgrade to it. Im getting different errors. ANd i try to downgrade to my old version and it wont let me do that either. It will say device is not connected when i try to downgrade to an older rom. And when i try to put the helmis wm6 rom on it tells me its not made to run on this device. Can anyone help me? I read somewhere that i needed to revert my bootloader to 2.2v and i did because it was 2.4 when i did the 3.3 upgrade. But now its back at 2.2v and none of the roms will work.

an update for me. I succesfully downgraded my bootload to 2.2v i think because now when i restart i get nothing but a black screen with red letters and funny numbers towards the bottom. ANd thats as far as it will go. I tried to upgrade to helmis wm6 now and it still wont let me. I cant even upgrade to the other one. ANy ideas?

well im really in a jam now. now i dont have a phone to use. it will do a hard reset. but wont ever soft reset. It shows bootload 2.2v and will show serial. and when i connect it to my computer it will show usb. But not one single rom update i have found will work. I keep getting 101 connection errors when i know its connected fine. I feel really sick right now. Someone please get back to me. I think when i reverted my bootloader back to 2.2v from 2.4v it screwed up a 3.3 aku rom image that was currently on there so now my phone wont boot. im not really stuck in bootloader mode its just that theres nothing currently to boot at the moment. can someone knowledgable tell me whats going wrong please? im freaked.....

try installing the 3.3aku again and see what happens. unfortunately, you will prob have to wait for someone with a bit more experience to help ya out :/

It's not bricked, you just have to follow the directions in the thread mentioned above.
It's a fairly common issue.

THanks guys!! especially davc!! i tried ur advice and tried to upgrade to 3.3 aku again and it loaded. which was a huge releif. and then from there i downloaded the helmis wm6 verizon rom but that wouldnt install. i then downloaded the generic version and that did the trick!! 5 hours later and im rocking the wm6!!! playing kevtris and listening to my tunes!!! thanks all of u!!! i really appreciate it!! i feel like a just got a new phone!! even more so now since a little while ago i thought i bricked it!! hahahhaa... there really are no words to explain how happy i am right now!!
