internet sharing aku 3.5 constantly disconnects on vista

first off Ive used the search to no avail. im running kirvins clean and simple 3.5. i was running xp and internet sharing would rarely disconnect. on black friday i buy a vista laptop run ics and connect to the web now for some reason it disconnects and reconnects every 5-10 minutes what gives!!! do i have to downgrade my laptop to xp to tether?

I have no such problems on vista.
Check 2 see if activesync is running on unit or "windows mobile device center" is activating it. disable in task manager.

i dont have activesync on the laptop i did have it running on the 6700 but i stopped it. However every couple of minutes the 6700 drops the network connection and dials #777 runs on the network and crashes
