I need a timer app.

seriously we have phones that could run the space shuttle but don't even have a simple timer?

I've searched and found a million apps for timers but was wondering if anyone could save save me some time by saying their preferences/ or what they use.
The timer has got to be the most neglected of small apps for this phone, as I've yet to see it built into any ROM yet.

I know Spb time has a timer/stopwatch feature, but it isn't free.

Timer Program

I use SPB Time and it has a nice timer part of the program.
Has alarm clocks and world time also.
Probably pick it up on Handango.

Thanks for this...=D> I didn't get to try out any of the others after this one because it seems to do all that I could want it to do. Real cool.. I love that you can set the volume in any number of ways... the steadily increasing volume is a great way to set an alarm, so that it only goes as high as necessary to get the job done without rattling the beejeezis out of anyone else in the room (like Upshot's favorite alarm is sure to do!).
Nope, not for me. I decided on using the theme song to Scrubs for my morning alarm.
Starts at 10% volume then increases to 100% over a preset span. Also set it to announce the time each hour at 20% volume, and not announcing during the hours I'm sleeping.

Don't know if I'll purchase it when the trial runs out or try a couple of the others first. It doesn't make much sense to me that it doesn't play videos as it seems it would just be the same as launching the file and having the associated player open it as normal.

Try gsAlarm Clock for an excellent blow yourself out of bed alarm. Seriously it's loud. I use phone weaver and my sound profile is set to off till 7a. But the alarm goes off at 6a and isn't affected by the sound setting on off.
