ActivSync scheduling is only used for direct push email(PPC settings in ActivSync). When connected to a PC items are synced as things are change in outlook on the Connected PC. I hope I understood your question, and I hope this helps.

not really but my problem is that my battery is dying very fast again and it wasnt before while i started using active syn for a few weeks. and when i turn it off the phone is fine. when i first started using the mail2web account for the email it was killing the battery fast(early october). then like i said a few weeks later i started using it again and the battery life was good i was suprised it look like it didnt have an affect on it(early november). but since about tuesday the battery is draining fast and i thought active sync only sycns the server when u get something when it is on as items arrive. it looks like from the times ive been watching yesterday that it sync whenever it wants now. from what ive been watching it will start out like every 8 mins then 12 mins then 15. then back in november when i started to use it again it would sync like every hour or something. now it syncs for no reason and its not only pinging the connection. do u have this problem if u use your mail2web account with active sync on your phone?

wait i dont know what it is but there nothing else running. i think my phone is going through another one of its menstral cycles. because its been off the charger for over about an hour or two and from tuesday around after an hor or 2 of not being on the charger or using the phone it would be on 90% or something. now its still on 100% and still syncing when it wants. and it was a day like this on a sunday when i started using it again after i discovered it doesnt eat the battery.
