Strange transfer problem with Helmi-cs wm6

I'm having trouble transfering files to my storage card in my phone. I am trying to put map files for tomtom and eveytime it hits a big file, active sync disconnects, and I have to reset my phone in order to get it to re connect. any ideas on how to fix this?

Put your card in a reader and transfer that way - activesync has a lot of trouble with large files - sheureka

OK, so now its doing the same thing with files less than 1meg.... I dont get it, its enough to switch back to vzws wm5 software. I just want this thing to work...

I've got the same problem with my vx6700 and wm6 kitchen. I've tried with and without SDHC drivers and the known sd card tweaks (currently without SDHC and supposedly reliable settings on the sd tweaks). I generally just put it in my sd reader (which is faster transfer speed anyway), but I hate having to pull the card out for those "gotta move this one file quickly" moments.

Hope they fix it soon, I'm tempted to go back to the old kitchen or the official 3.3aku...

See the problem is that im just trying to transfer some voices for tom tom navigator so there all under one meg. its hit or miss, sometimes I can transfer a handful of files, they go off without a hitch, then sometimes it will hang on the first file, then I have to reset the phone in order for it to re connect. its odd and a pain, I think I might end up going back to vzw wm5, the connection issues with the new kitchen are getting annoying, I have to retry connecting to a webpage 3 to 4 times before it will actually connect if the connection went dorment from not using it.

blksprk,
No card reader? Why not install WM5Storage and use that - bypasses activesync and makes your card show up like a USB flash drive when you cradle the device.
