Can't disable vibrate when setting appointments

HTC Apache, running WM6.

Everything runs great apart from each time I create a calendar entry for the current time, the sound (phone ringer) automatically goes into vibrate mode. I have the four sound options - normal, silent, vibrate and automatic. I'd expect this behaviour to only happen in automatic, but I have it set to normal. Anyone know how to resolve? Thanks

Re: Can't disable vibrate when setting appointments

I'm experiencing this now as well.... very annoying.
It can be an appointment added directly in the phone, or an appointment that gets added via ActiveSync.

I'm using the Kirvin C&S WM5.

Thanks,
Joe
