XV6700 "Out Of Stock"

I was checking out the Verizon website out of curiosity, and noticed that the XV6700 was listed as out of stock. I wonder if this is a hint as to the 6800 getting ready to hit the shelves?

This is a dead topic IMHO, cuz people are sick of waiting for this phone. So whenever it'll be released that's when it'll be released. I personally, dont care much anyway cuz my 6700 is running good with WM6.

what vboyz said seriously - if you've played with the 6800 at all (saw the t-mobile version) it's the same size, just without the antenna. Given what you can do with the roms for the 6700, the extra memory really isn't as big an issue. I build a rom and with all the software I need installed (I install wisbar lite and pocket breeze after since they don't do well in the rom) I still have 38M free.....

Agreed, with the ROM development on the 6700, you flash the WM6 Kitchen and you have more free memory than you would with a Mogul 6800 without any of the apps in your kitchen. With the WM6 on Apache, you have working BT, very good stability and a fully developed running device.

While there are some that post that they are not having problems with their mogul, why chance it?

Considering the age of the XV6700, I think this is news. Once we're all forced to upgrade by Ma Bell, there will be plenty of kitchen goodness for the 6800. But it looks like it's only out of stock for Northeast Ohio. So the wait continues...
