best place to buy battery?

My vx6700 gets maybe 20 minutes of batterylife off the charger..so obviously the battery is pretty much toast and im looking at buying a new either 1350 or 1500 mah battery. Is there any other places other then seido to buy one thats less expensive? Dont feel like paying close to $50 for a battery unless theres no other cheaper alternative....

i've had good luck with ebay before you can get a pretty good deals just be careful and buy from a reputable dealer

If you want to stay with the standard size battery, think about getting a LiPo (lithium polymer) battery. Love mine.

second the ebay suggestion - you should be able to get OEM audovox batteries for under $10 a pop. Get two. Rotate between using one or the other every few weeks/months. Carry the other one if you want, or not. I used to carry a spare, but lately I only do that if stuck on a plane for 5 or more hours

I have a few new UT Starcom branded stock batteries. Will sell to ppc geeks members for $10 plus whatever the shipping costs.
I also have extra usb data cables and wall chargers. Planning on putting them up on ebay soon.

if it is the same battery for both sprint and verizon, ill take a battery at 10 bucks, if you have a dock, ill take one if the price is right. pm me

In case you're looking for an extended battery, I bought a couple of these a month or so ago, and they seem to be holding up fine so far:

It's got a Sprint (silver) cover, but it works just fine on my Verizon-branded (black) 6700. Looks kind of cool, actually.

BTW, you probably won't find stock UT Starcom batteries for $10 new anywhere online. All the ones I saw were rediculously expensive. If you're looking for stock batteries, verizonguy's $10 offer above is the best deal I've seen.

a few months ago i bought second hand battery with $35 from a second hand dealer.... it wasn't from UT starcom, the battery is white and rather thick than my UT starcom original battery(not extended battery), and there isn't the metal plate so that the heat will stuck in the battery ...i don't love my new (second) battery but i've buy it so just use it till the limit.....Verizonguy has the best deal ...$10 go for it..go...go......
