XV6700 running great on WM6

When Helmi finished the WM6 upgrade I decided at some point I would move up and started following the threads about it (also donated because he has enabled me to remain happy with this unit despite Verizon's abominable support)

After I moved Pocket Informant from my storage card to main memory the unit started locking up - finally it wouldn't "boot" - just hung at the blue splash screen so I bit the bullet and upgraded to WM6 (also updated radio to 1.41). I was hesitant because of reports of battery drain, people writing they were reverting back to WM5 etc.

My xv6700 is running great! There are so many improvements and the phone is so stable I can't imagine why someone would downgrade. Here is a short list of improvements:

1. The Outlook in WM6 is way nicer than WM5 - the emails look great
2. File browsing is much faster in WM6 - no more waiting a minute for the windows folder to open.
3. Overall responsiveness of the phone is much improved. Moving from app to app and through menus is much smoother.
4. The sound of people I'm talking to is more clear
5. I wasn't expecting the Bluetooth to work better but its night an day for me. I use on old Plantronics M3500 when in my office but a Voyager 510 when out of the office. It was murder getting it to switch between them - works flawlessly now
6. I have much more free program memory using this Kitchen
7. Voice Command is faster and working more reliably (hasn't failed once yet - on WM5 it would take multiple attempts to get it to respond.
8. The apps look better (font smoothing is improved ? )
9. Tethering seems to work better
10. Biggest improvement of all is using 6GB microSDHC card - that solves numerous issues I had in terms of using the phone as Audible player, mp3 player, I'm able to load TomTom entire North America maps

Thanks ppcgeeks and Helmi!
