No longer stuck in bootloader but...

Ok, I ran the "tool" per the sticky to get out of bootloader 1.04 screen. It said success and my device should boot. It never boooted. Now its a blank screen, unresponsive. I plugged it into ac charger and the red light just blinks. Any help?

EDIT: I just unplugged from AC power and connected the USB and I also get the blinking red light.

Ok I found a thread that said to let the phone sit without the battery for a while. After pressing button sequences, I got the screen to light up for a hard reset. Of course it resets back to bootloader mode. I could get Serial 1.04 and USB 1.04 when I plugged in USB. Ran the "tool" again and now I'm back in the same place with blank screen no LEDs or anything. I am going to leave the phone for a while like I did before and see if I can get the phone to come up in bootloader mode again.

Is it possible that I have messed up the bootloader? If i can bring the phone up in bootloader mode again, can I somehow install a ROM that will put a/the bootloader back?

Any help guys?

Well, this is really frustrating. I should not have attempted to restore the bootloader after doing the latest verizon ROM update, as this is what has got me in this position.

Let me start from beginning. Followed sticky for restoring to previous bootloader after doing VZW AKU 3 (I want to flash WM6). Got to step 6 and my information did not match what it said my screen should look like nor did it match what the screen would look like after running bootloader fix. Didn't know what to do and chat does not work on my PC. Basically I thought that at step 6, nothing had been changed, so I just tried to exit bootloader using the "tool" but I guess this was wrong. Thats where I was when I posted first. Tried to exit bootloader mode using the tool, which said success but the device never booted, just went blank.

Now I can get my phone to come up with the bootloader screen but I can't exit out of it using the "tool." It sends me back to blank screen and I have to remove the battery and put it in the cradle and then back in the phone and then use power+notes+reset to get to bootloader screen.

I tried running the VZW AKU3 and I believe whatever is the version just before that. AKU 3 says not compatible with my device and the one before it (APAC_VZW_20720_200_11000_Ship.exe) says can't connect to the device.

If anyone can help me that would be great. If this is a matter of me not searching correctly, I've been looking all evening and haven't found the answer. I know I know I should have just posted when I was at the screen and wasn't sure what to do. The big *READ ME* says bootloader is not like ROM or anything else, very possible to brick the phone.
