Question Joystick broken - PPC6700 - new member HI

Any suggestions on where to get a replacement part? Anybody have one they would sell? I talked w/ UTStar, they wanted $75 - yeah right....

Looks like a great forum you got 'cookin' here! TIA.

You on sprint?

They'll fix it (actually, they will swap the top half, so you get a new LCD too) for $50 or so, without insurance, plus tax, or free with insurance - in about 1-2 hours.

Mine died in September - well worth the small fee to fix.

Hi welcome to the boards. I know your new. But for future reference. The search feature is installed on this site, and works very well.

i had mine replaced once (the whole phone) and it's at the store now for the same thing again. I guess it depends on how competent the store techs are, the ones at my store took it apart last time and this time and both times they came back saying they couldn't do anything about it.
