There's a couple of posts here about it. Do a search on "stuck splash screen".

You may need to hard reset, I've also seen some posts indicating issues with themes and with the HTC Home Plugin.

here's one of the posts I found in the search.

If you "brick" your phone or can't get past the splash screen, is there a safe mode that you can boot into to get back into your phone ?
Are there any other ways of flashing the rom other than using Active Sync and will Active Sync run in safe mode if it exists and you can get into it ?
Are there any special key sequences for the 6700 for getting into special modes like safe mode for one ?

thanks...

I installed touchflo on my 6700 running WM6, and it's pretty bricked. I'm also interested in some form of safe mode that would load the core os, and not "additional applications" where i could uninstall things that may have created the problem, or some sort of roll-back feature would be nice.

Thanks.

if your battery is near low, it will take literally 20minutes to get to Today screen, try a fully charged battery.
