Connection ALWAYS ON not working...

Sup folks,

I upgraded to Helmi latest kitchen (with new buildos) and it was such a great kitchen and to me it's very stable and loving the overclock app. Thanks to Helmi and the gang.

Now, I have unlimited data plan with VZW and before, I go into the registry and find the VZW connection and tweak the AlwaysOn to 1 and it will always stay connected. But for some reason in the ROM I made with new kitchen, it doesn't seem to honor that tweak. the two arrows where EV icon lit up, and greyed out after a few seconds. But then when I open IE to go online, they light up again and go back to "sleep" when I don't use it.

I want it to stay on all the times, can somebody tell me why or any1 is experiencing the issue?
TIA

that's normal for an always on connection. When the arrow grey out that means there is not active data transfer. It would only be a problem if you had switched the registry entry only to find it having to dial into EVDO every time you tried to use the internet.
