Well there are no ROMs for the 6800 and very few hacks other than those that are similiar and have been carried over from the 6700. I hear the volume issue is still the same. To me, there wasnt enough changes from WM5 to WM6 that make me just wanna go get it. Me personally, I still have my 6700 and will stay with it. If you battery is going to shit (which they all do eventually) just go buy a new one but make sure it is an OEM battery or from a reputable seller with good batteries and no generic japanese cell batts. Ebay has plenty of OEMs and junk batteries.

oh yeah if i do decide to keep it i would replace the battery with a seido. i was just thinking if i was going to spend the money on a new battery it might be worth using that money towards a new phone is all. i think im just gonna keep the 6700 and get a new battery and suck it up until something else comes out

I saw the i760 in the store yesterday, and it's nice (I like the keyboard) but it's no smaller than the 6700. It's as long with the antenna (just about) and only a hair thinner. And the lack of REV A for a brand new phone is a major negative

The 6800 is still not out on vzw, and though it's capable of Rev A, it is not that much better than the 6700 from the one I played with. Sure, it has more memory (storage) but with the WM6 kitchen I use, I have 37+M free with everything I need installed, so who cares.. And it's the same size, practically (without the antenna, but only a hair thinner).

I'm just planning on getting a seidio 3200mah battery. I picked up a new 1500mah slim on ebay for under $20. So between the two they are fine. Battery life is probably better on the 6800, but is it worth that much more cost?

If you can get it for about $100, I'd go for it myself. But....

yeah i was thinking of getting the big seido battery but i dont want my phone to get any bigger. thats why i was looking at the mogul. but if i just get the 1500 battery that should tide me over until something better comes out making it worth while for upgrading.
