Phone as modem

I have the 6700 and have always wanted to use it as a modem when I was on the run but it has never worked. I checked my user guide and it says I need "ppc6700sp by sprintdailer.exe" and "ppc6700sp by sprint.inf" on my cpu but I don't. It also says that those files should be on my "getting started" disk but I am unable to find them on that disk. As a result when I attempt to use "phone as a modem", instead of my computer saying "found new hardware" it says "usb device not recognized". If you know how I can locate those drivers please inform me.
