Couple questions about the 6700

I have been thinking of getting the PPC-6700 but after reading on a couple different forums I have seen some complaints about this phone

the biggest complaint I have read is that the battery doesn't last long at all. some people are saying like 2 hours and it is dead? is this true?

Also i leave my phone on all night and people are saying you shouldn't do this with a smartphone? what are your insights on this?

Thanks alot

one... depends on what you have running. i would recommend getting a extended battery. i have a 3200mah one, and it lasts me about a day and a half of heavy use. the stock one will last you about 6-8 hours of moderate use, and about 3-4 hours of HEAVY use. its the same with MOST PPC phones. cept for the treos.

two, you can leave your phone on whenever you want, those people are idiots.

Yep mine is on all night plugged in...

batter time is a bit low, but if you've even owned any windows mobile device that's not a phone, you'd not be surprised. I have a spare OEM battery, other people go the fat battery route.

extended battery is not for everyone, but it is very useful if every needed. the standard battery is great and gets me through the day.

So some people it lasts the whole day and some it doesn't i guess its just trial and error, i'm thinking i might just wait for the 6800.

I hear ya on waiting but it may be a good wait. I love my 6700 only thing that ticks me off sometimes is my battery life but I think I may get me another oem battery or an extended one. Who knows when battery technology will catch up with everyone else.
