Is there a 6700 that is actually branded as "HTC Apache"?, becuase I have never seen one, I have a UTstarcom one.

No, HTC built the apache, then marketed it out to other carriers, the carriers changed the names to their own liking (PPC-6700, XV-6700) HTC phones are almost always renamed.
