PPC-6700 Clock keeps Changing to Daylight Saving Time!

I am a Newbe to PPCGeeks. I was referred by PDAPhoneHome.com some time ago!

My PPC-6700 prompted me for a Daylight Saving Time change on Oct. 28th. I believe this is only for European Time Zone.

Now, my PPC will not keep the correct time which is "Central".

I am an hour behind.

Any others experience this situation!

Sircas

Blame Congress.

Go to MS and learn and download everything you can. The patch for DST is there somewhere. Sign up for the "Owner's Circle" while you're there.

https://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/default.mspx

I don't have it anymore because it's included in my custom ROM. There is also a patch for Outlook. You need to apply both patches in a certain order.

edit: I found the patch, but don't know how to upload to the FTP.

Go Here
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...g/default.mspx

Follow the instructions. Problem solved. Make sure to read exactly how to do it. After flashing my 6700 last night with the WM6, I had to do the same thing.
