TMobile WiFi VOIP anything similar for Verizon on the way?

I'm assuming there's a way to do this using Skype, or some other VOIP service. I was wondering if Verizon had any plans of doing this. Also if there not, how would I go about doing this on my 6700 with skype. Do they allow call/number fowarding?

Ok, if you're go-tarded, asplain to me what benefit you get by doing this... You still get charged for the minutes... So, if you're still going to get charged for the minutes from verizon, why tunnel voice thru voip? Just make the call regularly. Maybe I'm the go-tard.

When forwareding with Verizon you do not need a Radio Signal. I do believe you still get charged the minutes though.

I don't know of you still get charged for the minutes with call forwarding. But the benefit is for when I don't have good signal, but have WiFi access such as when I'm in my house. Skype is like $3 a month so it isn't that bad.

Airtime applies to forwarded/transferred calls even if you send the call to wireline telephones.

Is what the TOS says from Verizon.
