Network Time - XV6700 - WM6

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but on my XV-6700 with WM6, I have the network time box checked. Saturday night was the old day-light savings time, from previous years. Well, my phone rolled with the old time change date, instead of the new one, which is next week. Has anyone else had this problem?

To note, other Verizon people around me have the correct time, and are not an hour behind. That includes both regular phones, and people running WM6 on the Q.

Same problem here ... I'm running Helmi's original Apache WM6 ROM. I've set it back, turned off the network sync, but still had it go back 2 or 3 times today.

Quick Fix

Same thing happened here and I fixed it by:

Turning off network time synch

To fix the Appointments:

Change the timezone to anything but the current it will say your appointments are shifting say ok.

Change back to your timezone and your appointments will now be correct?

I went into HKLM to Software\Microsoft\Clock\HomeDST and changed the DWORD from 0 to 1. I think this means Daylight Savings Time is turned on ... which it should be till Nov something.

For me, it was more than appointments. Mobile Shell plugin said it was x time in Norfolk, but the system said it was x -1 (hours). A single time zone irregularality ... huh, kinda Star Trekish ...

It looks like some of the "new" bits in the roms are from models in europe and the 28th was the end of DST over there. It looks like the phone is just doing what it thinks it is correct. Not sure why the carrier time sync would not correct the error, but it looks to not be one carrier so it must be the new roms..Still a guess?? Im on sprint BTW and had this issue as well.

I have the new Verizon 3.3 (complete, factory ROM including customizations) and it too switched from DST this weekend. I (re)installed the DST patch (which is already in the customizations), which fixed the problem.
