Touch Screen Browser

For those who haven't heard, there is a cool new web browser called the Picsel Browser where you can control it with your finger/stylus, kind of like how you can scroll with your finger on the iphone (yes, I hate the iphone too, and cringe when making reference to it.)

My new i760 came with it, so I extracted all the pertinent stuff and made a cab package out of it. I tested it on one of my 6700s and it works great. I don't think mike wants the download linked directly on the forum, so I'll just say to go to my site to get it. Enjoy!

I have picsel installed on my 6700. I like how it works, but I can't seem to sign-on to ppcgeeks using it.
I have cookies turned on, and the browser set to appear as picsel didn't work, so I set it to appear as IE 6.0 and that ddint work either.
Any tips?

I found the cab that had been previously posted on xda and compared it to what I put together. The executable is smaller, but does appear to be the same version as the one I made. odd.

Unhappy

Yeah I use Picsel Browser a lot. But I did a hard reset yesterday and tried to use the cab you listed and it was unsuccessful loading it to my device. Strange... If it's the same, why is the cab a different size?

Smaller executable = smaller cab file

Thanks verizonguy

the browser is great! ... i had some issues with it crashing on a lot of the web pages but once i change the Compatibility to MS Internet Explorer 6.0 ...im able to view the pages that would normally crash the browser.

does anyone know how to start EVDO connection as soon as i try to visit a web site? right now i have to manually start up EVDO before i can start to browse ...just like how IE or Opera does ..they both detect if you have an internet connection (wifi or EVDO) and if none auto starts EVDO connection
