new update?

I went into word on my phone and got an Altel update message. it looks like this:

Download the Maintenance Release version: APAC_ALLTEL_21120_701_11500_Ship.exe to your computer. Do not attempt to run it from its current location.

is this new? it also says if I do the upgrade I will lose all 3rd party software. it also says it takes 20min to update...
