o.k. maybe i'm not explaining this right... normal evdo procedure is when there is data transfer the evdo icon come up w/ the arrows in white... when the data transfer stops the arrows go grey... well my arrows don't go grey, they stay white, which means there is a constant data transfer... which means i'm using battery life... normally even if i have pie running in the background, once the page has loaded and the data transfer has stopped, the evdo arrows would grey out... i need help please... i'm trying to avoid doing a hard reset b/c i just got my ppc running the way i want it to...

No I get it 100% - I usually run all kinds of network stuff in the background on mine (email getting checking on a couple IMAP accounds, rss feeds, weather, god knows what else)
My activity arrows are usually grey, but sometimes white if something's working away. If you're sure PIE is all that might be accessing the internet (even if it looks like its complete) killing PIE should do it. A SOFT reset won't hurt anything on your phone, it will just reboot Win Mobile. That should do it for sure. Oh, and maybe a TODAY plugin is doing network access? |

I have seen this before and wish I would have noted it. But it was an app I can't remember which but after installing my 1x connection seemed as if it was always on (white arrows) but it wasn't. You sure it isn't from a recently install?
