do you use M$ voice command with ur 510? mine would always fail, so i got rid of it. was mine defective?

thanks

Yes I use voice command with this headset and have had no problems at all. I just purchased the new version of voice command v1.6...kinda steep at $40 but it does work. The only thing I can not do is hear the caller id over my BT headset. It is totally handsfree! All I do is press the buton on my headset and when I hear the chirp, i say call(contact) or dial 555-1212 and it works. All of the features work great except for the caller id...caller id does announce, but through the phone itself and not my headset.

I use a sony ericsson hbh-gv435.

Its awesome. Good sound quality, good range, very comfortable. It was horrible with my treo 650, but so was everything else LOL. Its nice having BT that works properly now.

I'm walking around at work listening to music in my Erisson now, they sound good.

Zizo72,

1) Take the attached program, unzip, copy the btaudio.exe file to your device and place it under \windows\start menu\programs
2) rename btaudio.exe to "audio gateway.exe"
3) Using your BT headest, execute the command "open audio gateway"

This should leave your audio gateway open.
It is important to understand that any subsequent Voice Command operation will close the audio gateway. If you want to listen to a media file for instance, you will have to do a two step approach in this order:

1) play
2) open audio gateway

If you do it in reverse order, the play command will cause the audio gateway to close.

I hope this helps.

I did this that I got from pdaphonehome. After you do this assign the program to a button. I put it on my IE button. When the phone rings press IE button an you'll hear the caller announcement E.G. call from home at home, Call from theresa thru the BT. Being IE button on the side I have MY phone in my holster I just reach down tap IE hear who's calling then press bluetooth to answer. Works for me.http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/pdaph...ailable-4.html POSTNUMBER 64

I'm still using my trusty old Jabra BT200. The BTAudio works well. As for voice, I'm also still using Fonix VoiceCentral v2.
