Question CONFUSED between HTC Apache and Helmi Apache WM6

Hi All,

I just wonder which ROM is better? Faster and more friendly. I au using HTC Apache right now and it's pretty slow. I got an Verizon XV6700 with 2GB of Memory stick. Phone will take maybe upto 20-30 to respond after not use for like 10 min.( maybe sleepmode ) Unable to Unlock phone unless slice the phone up/down then Unlock option will show. Or else, none of the keys pressed will work. Also, when access to variuos programs it's kinda take sometime. I love the ROM but just way tooo slow.....

Now i saw Helmi Apache ROM posted sometime this month in here, so i wonder if this better the HTC ROM.

Please advice..... thanks

*** VerizonWireless XV6700 w/ HTC WM6 ROM dated: Aug 07 RELEASED DATE.

There is no official wm6 rom released from Verizon. Or sprint, altel and others for that matter.
You are most likely running wm5 aku2.2.

This is the latest official rom from Verizon. It is wm5 aku.3.3. Released about a week ago. Either rom will speed up your phone. aku2.2 was very slow and hung allot.

Well Verizonguy has a devel4 of helmi's wm6 rom. It has been cleaned up allot and allot of fixes. Helmi and the guys are still working on there official kitchen.
But until then. Look in the upgrades sub forum. There are two variants of helmi's wm6 rom. Verizonguy and RobMayer
