changing my splash screen and da one before it

i've been trying to figure out how to do this for about three days now and everything is going wrong, i cant seem to find any thing to resize the img with can anybody help

The latest kitchen has a tool that works great it is located in:
Helmi_APAC_Official_AKU3.5_Kitchen_1.0.4\Change Boot Screen\Image Converter.exe
read the Readme.txt file in the "Change Boot" folder for some simple instructions.

If you want to do that you can use photoshop or something like that. Or you can use this:
