What I would recommend is backing up your contacts and reflashing your ROM with one of the ones provided on this site. I know this would require you to reinstall all your 3rd-party apps, but it may be the best bet. Since he deleted everything you need for email and yahoo and whatnot, you just don't know what else he may have deleted that you will certainly need.
To me its just not worth worrying about, start with a fresh reflash and youre good to go. I personally recommend the offical VZW 3.3 rom w/ 1.43 radio. That is by far the best performing (speedwise) for me, and I have much more programs on it than I did with others (3 WM6 roms and helmi's 3.5).
