Dialer Desires
My biggest frustration with the phone dialer is lack of support for extensions. What I would like, is that if a phone number has an extension specified (e.g. 800-555-1212 x123), then after dialing, a button (hard or soft) would automatically be assigned to send the extenion (touch tones).
These days human receptionists are an endangered species, so I am often needing to type in extensions on the keypad. This is especially problematic while driving; I can hands-free voice dial, but I then have to focus on the keypad to enter an extension. There is also the additional problem of having to know the extension to type it in! Are there replacment dialers that address this issue? Does MS Voice Commander 1.6 address the issue?
