Well I got screwed. My xv6700 provided by work was upgraded today by our help desk using the new verizon update after they were notified it was released. I was using helmi's 3.5... now I'm Verizon 3.3 and 0 support for tethering and a bunch of other stuff broke. No ICS, the wmodem included doesn't work with the drivers that I have from the install disks and even PDAnet is proving useless.
And I can't roll back due to the 2.05 bootloader :/ Any ideas? |

Here is a video of the transition from portrait to landscape that i made.
Keep in mind i have been using various wm6 roms. wm6 screen rotation seems super slow now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzY6Z0pFoaU

My screen rotation was super-fast, too, when I first installed, but it got bogged down eventually. Power usage also appeared to be elevated compared to my old 3.5/1.41 configuration - I hope it's not due to the 1.43 radio which I'm keeping. When I saw all the stuff if the extended rom and realized this didn't even have CF2 included I knew it wasn't for me. I'm presently syncing after cooking a new custom 3.5 -- Thanks to Helmi, Luv, and the rest.

Has anyone looked at the drivers in this rom? I am wondering if they are even newer that what was in the bell mobility rom.

I installed it using Mobile Device Center on Vista x64 this morning without problems. I made sure I was using the latest Mobile Device Center updates but I don't know if that would make any difference.

It seems pretty fast to me so far. Only had one crash since yesterday and that was with pocket internet explorer so it may not be related.
Screen rotations are great still, I keep opening my keyboard and waiting for the screen to rotate only to realize it has been flipped already, very nice. I'm still trying to customize it, so I hope the speed keeps up. I would say this is a good rom though, I went from WM6 to this and it is much much quicker. |

Some one know as installing the WM6 Rom when already I use this update (verizon Aku 3.3), since it seems to me that it changes the bootloader and the previous versions does not receive them (extracts a message Not get Device Data )
