question about pri

hello, this is my first post. pretty new to the forums, though i have been lurking here and there for a bit. incredibly useful site.

recently flashed with BigJ's latest hybrid kitchen. actually flashed two different 6700's and the pri version is different on each.

so i have some questions about pri. i've searched on the forums and google, but couldn't find a clear answer. here goes-

what exactly is pri and what does it do?

i have pri version 1.12_002 on one phone and 1.14_002 on another, how do i update what looks to be the older version?

if someone could point me in the right direction i would surely appreciate it. thank you.

Any hints or ideas on this? I have two sprints phones, one with 1.16.003 and the other with 1.17.003. I ran the PRL PRI cab in ext rom but that didn't seem to make a change.. Do I need to install the certificates perhaps?

Thanks

Found a post about this on this forum by luv2chill. He posted an up .zip file there.
