The conspicuous absence of most of the 3.5 ROM makers on this board and their listing in Helmi's "credits" leads me to believe that they are working on something new to release.
I just did my first hard reset since installing WM6 44 days ago and everything seems to be working OK (I only did it because I didn't like the results of the SP1 update and just removing it didn't help anything).
Did somebody say Sprint? No games except for OEM? Well, ask and you shall recieve. Do I have any beta testers??

Is this WM6 upgrade worth it over the present WM5 installed on my Sprint PPC-6700? Would it use more of the devices RAM?

No it doesn't. Roms distributed on ppcgeeks are not supposed to include any Palm-derived threader, though exceptions have sneaked through in the past.

Re: Apache WM6 Clean, No Junk Version

Are there install instructions for this version? I have only ever upgraded my rom once and am not sure on the procedures. I haven't unzipped the file yet, so if there are already instructions I apologize. But if not, could someone point me in the right direction? thanks

Re: Apache WM6 Clean, No Junk Version

Somehow it figures!! I have read and read and considered and pondered and read some more and looked into the different versions and different things offered and when i finally FINALLY build myself up and find the guts to go ahead and download Robs ROM (my own fear of my ineptatude was holding me back!) i go to rapidshare and try to get it, and what do i find?? of course~! cant get it!!!!! its not available!!!! so, now that i'm at this point, is there ANYPLACE else i can get this program (Please, please say yes!!) I'm trusting you guys to help me out should i happen to mess everything up!

I feel ya, but I think you are missing one of the best features of the phone. Don't use dial up use tethering/internet sharing instead.

Hopefully Rob has already sent your disc.
