You can "remove" these programs (from view - out of site, out of mind)...
Use file explorer to remove the icon from the Start menu/Programs directory.
It won't save you any space, but since the apps are in the ROM, not in RAM, as people said, they are not using up any of your available RAM anyhow.

I have a kingston 2 Gig card and every so often my device reads that I have a Storage Card, and Storage Card2, what really happens is that somehow it loses the physical storage card, but somehow still thinks that it has the storage card and now has to rename my physical card to keep from having two identical card names. I then just delete the "fake" storage card, soft reset, and rename the real card. It doesn't happen too often, but often enough that I know I do not want to build any of my apps on that foundation. I guess I will just have to be picky about what I install until the kitchen comes out, then I will remove what is not needed.

This usually happens when the Storage Card isn't detected in time when Pocket Outlook is set to store attachments to the Storage Card. It looks like Outlook solves this problem by creating a folder call "Storage Card" on the device and when the miniSD is finally recognized, it takes on the name "Storage Card2". Just rename the folder to "Storage Card3" or whatever, and pop the card out and put it back in. The card will get named correctly and you don't even need to soft reset.
