Although I haven't tried the WM6 Rom (waiting for the kitchen), I am using VC1.6 on my Titan and I can confirm there is no announcement there either.

This appears to be a problem with VC when running WM6 in general and is not specific to the Apache.

WM6 Apache Fixes/Bugs thread may have your fix

Ok so i found a file in the WM6 Apache fixes/patches thread which is working for me on my WM6 Apache.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=7780

Does this work for anyone else?

If so then we may have found our "band-aid"

Cano - which file did you find? Was it the IDTrasnfer file? I haven't loaded yet, but was wondering if there was a way to get it working without additional software. Thanks!

Sorry it was a long day when i posted this. This is a patch/bugfix for MS Voice Command to to address the incoming caller announcement.

Hope that clarifies, it specifically addresses the WM6 issue we are dealing with.

Yes.

The VC patch worked on my xv6700 Helmi_c WM6 phone...

...by that I mean that prior to the patch when I would attempt to initiate a VC via
my BT headset, it would drop the connection for BT back to the phone after 1 sec,
forcing me to use the phones speaker to interact with VC. Once patched, the BT
connection is maintained and I can control VC through BT. I'll post later if my reminders
are reading through BT now.

Clean, simple and effective.

Thanks!

-Surfer
