Guys, I'm having a weird situation. I can enable BT, pair with a stereo headset (Jabra BT620). BUT when I play any songs thru HTC audio manager, the songs are played thru the speaker (of the speakerphone).

I'm on the xv6700, helmi's WM6 (5.2.1620) and with Radio version 1.41. Wireless lan is off. No other software or hacks added. Am I missing something?

I got S9 bluetooth. This is how I got it to work:

1- Install the "slueth fix", (on Device)
2-Reset phone

3- downloaded/installed PHM Registry Editor.
4- navigate to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\A2DP\Settings
Deleted BitPool and MaxSupportedbitPool , set the jointstereo=2 then I added SampleRate = 48000
5- Reset phone
6- Pair S9
7-reset phone
8-NO skips at all!

[QUOTE=kendubya;81295]Well, so far, so good...a bit of skip, gone after reset...true stereo out of the box, no reg tweak needed. Bass sucks (S9 issue) I think I'll spring for coreplayer as it has EQ.

TCPMP ('Player' in WM6) has eq with preamp: Options-> settings -> select page -> equalizer. I get nice bass with my S9 headset.

I had no A2DP issues after resetting the first time I turned on the bt. In fact I get much less skipping overall (none when indoors, sporadic and very brief when outdoors) and less of that high pitch hissing in the background compared to the 3.5 rom I was using. I am still using the original registry settings.

Been running the WM6 for about 72 hours now.

Try this simple fix. I have WM6 and A2DP works fine when the phone is in normal mode, but silent/vibrate mode skips every time or just a couple of seconds of music then nothing at all.

i have an awsome experience with my jabra bt620s. yah it does skip in and out. all i do is put it on the charger then take it off and once it reconnects, it works really well. i can go like 20 feet away and still have stereo and clear. thankyou hemi for wm6.

I'm using a Motorola S9 and oddly enough found that the choppiness is the worst after a soft reset. Not sure why, and it seems that I can have choppiness no matter what settings I have.

I followed the directions earlier to remove BitPool and MaxBitPool, and add SampleRate 48000 and have had OK results. I think there's a lot of trial and error involved here, especially with the wide range of headsets we have.

what player are you all using? I get constant skipping with the htc today screen player, but music plays somewhat decently using "the player"

**using motorola s9

My BT Headphones skip horribly when I use WIFI, but if I connect thru EVDO I'm golden. I used the BT music reg tweaks and it made the WIFI skip more frequently.

I can confirm the WiFi/A2DP skipping.

For me, it happens 100% of the time if both are enabled.

Let's cover a little 2.4 GHz basics: WiFi uses 2.4, this divided into 11 channels; BT used 2.4 but BT uses the whole of the spectrum (2.40 - 2.49 GHz) so it will eventually have to fall upon a part of the WiFi's channel; it can't use that freq. so a skip is observed. It's not so much as using the same antenna as it is using the same frequency-which spells using the same antenna!

Lubix BT stereo headset, 1.14 radio, no change to reg.
Lubix is still tricky to connect but it's definetly easier with WM6 than anything else.
My main issue before was the high pitched squeel from the MS BT stack, but the squeel is now gone. I have zero skipping issues, once I get a good connection which sometimes involves disconnecting and reconnecting.
I did have a bit of crackling which was probably where the high pitched squeel would have been, so I upgraded from the 1.14 radio to the 1.41 radio and all is good.
Damn I'm so happy, no need for the Widcomm BT stack anymore.
BTW I use Mortplayer and AVRCP works perfectly
