On verizon *228, does not seem to actually work. Normally you get messages saying SPL, PRI etc unlocked and forces a reboot afterwords. This is not happening. The ## codes do seem to work. Is this the same with Sprint(22. BTW the same goes for 22899.

I just tried it and got it to work. It said "Welcome to verizon wireless...etc etc etc", I hit option 2 to update, gives me that peaceful background music and then "Programming Complete".

I get this as well, but normally when this is going on you see Text saying what it is doing, and a restart box at the end. This is what is not happening. I have had this with other kitchens, and custom dialers, and when you revert to the stock dialer this reboot and messages happen again. I don't know if it is actually updating or just going through the voice prompt. I should have looked at the PRL version before and after the update, but did not. Any one who has not *228ed in a while on verizon, can you please check this, and report back weather the versions actually change.

Did you check to see that the PRL actually updated. I have seen it do this before, and not update Versions.
