Well, I can report that all the other apps I've installed are working flawlessly -- PocketBreeze, PhoneWeaver, Resco Photo Viewer, Inesoft Address Book, MSVC (other than the button 5 thing)...

I'll wait to hear more news about Palm SMS. The good news is that the WM6 messaging app seems to allow me to send SMS to email, which is one of the big plusses with the Palm app. That may be enough to keep me using this for a while.
