I updated and I love it.
I've loaded the following and all are working well. Phatnotes/Phat Spell - Stor Card Phatpad - Stor Card Voice Command - Main Mem Pocket hackmaster - Main Mem UPX4PPC - Main Mem Ewallet Prp - Stor Card Mem Maid- Stor Card Pocket Breeze - Stor Card Pocket Weather - Stor Card Ilauncher - Stor Card Phone Alarm - Main Mem Pocket Informant - Main Mem SK Tools - Stor Card Sprite Backup - Stor Card Tweaks2k2 - Stor Card Verizon Push - Main Mem I used UPX4PPC to compress everything except Phackmaster (max speed 520), Verizon Push. I compressed all of the VC files except for an 8K file, and all of PBreeze except for a file called LowDpiRes.dll or something like that. P Hackmaster helped bring back some speed after loading the device up. I have about 9 MB of storage And 12 MB of ram left. On my today screen I have Phone Alarm, Pocket Breeze, and Ilauncher is running in the tray. I use a theme for the background picture and colors. Very stable and everything seems to be fine. I needed to use a tip in this thread to stop my device from confusing the storage card and ext memory. And I used a cab i found at pdaphonehome.com to load the VC button #5 fix. My manual entery wasn't working but the cab fixed it. I don't get the text message counter, and my movies don't play in landscape, but i don't really use that stuff much anyways. So not an issue for me. I'm a moderate to advanced user and not a developer. I'm very impressed with this update. These guys here at ppcgeeks rock. |

For you medical types: Running Epocrates with no problem Pocket Informant 2007 does not install however. Worked on every previous version of WM5 I had. Any ideas? I like my calander color coded, are there any other options************** ******************** OK I noticed the post above said it was running - I downloaded the newest version of PI and it installed no problem. |
Can't soft reset and get past WM6 Splash

ONLY PocketCM .12 - main memory SPB MobileShell 1.5 - main memory SPB Diary 2.5.5 - Main Memory PPCGeeks Picsel - Main Memory I basically have been running till I lock...which is 2x since the ROM came out. Once Picsel overran memory and device became non-responsive Once I tried to add a phone number from call history to a contact...device straight locked Soft-reset will sit on "windows mobile" screen indefinitely...multiple soft resets does not correct (on old wm5 kitchens would intermittently get a hang on reboot) ------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT: Per DCs suggestion - removed HTC Home from "Today" screen - rebooting like a champ. |

Anyone had issues with Blackberry Connect? When I go to setup, it says "Unable to determine the device's network type. Please ensure your device's radio is on and in coverage before initializing the Blackberry application." Then the drop down at the bottom says "Not Configured", but won't let me choose any options.
I've tried messing with the phone network settings with no luck. Anyone else seen this? TIA for any help. |

ok, Ive installed the wm6 as suggested,, i did the reset after installaion, Im stuck with my sprint logo screen, except instead of it showing the sprint logo, its an HTC logo. can someone PLEASE help me out with this. I cant even get on the phone, I tried installing my original wm5 from nextel and it still gets stuck. How can I just bring it back to factory settings? Hard reset, soft reset, boot mode, none of this works. I will put money into your paypal account if u help me out here. Im in a bind
