POutlook attachments are still extremely weak. You can't attach anything unless it's in a main folder. I have subfolders with things I'd like to attach and I can't do from the Outlook interface. Very poor programming IMO.

I realize I can attach them by finding them first with File Explorer, but I shouldn't have to do that.

what's this program in the startup folder?
custTDYTSK.exe

This was asked in post #29 and I can't see that it's been answered. Anybody know what it is?

It sets the theme on first boot. It does not stay running, so does no harm to be in there. But you can also safely delete it without any ill effect.

Great input...I just changed the account back to POP (involved deleting and re-establishing the account without the automatic settings)...it works better now.

Hey, is there any way to change the default blocking of images in HTML email messages?

Thanks!

Thanks for finally answering that. Since post #29 huh.

The other thing that doesnt seem to have an answer to yet is the WPA WIFI problem.

Where can I look to fix this? Is there something from a WM5 Rom that can be copied over?

How did you get WMV files to play on TCPMP? Did you install TCPMP over the version already installed on this ROM, or did you use another method (added the correct codec, etc.)?

OK, perhaps this is more YouTube related, but because the issue is happening in conjunction with my WM6 upgrade, I'll try it here. After configuring my menu bar, moving some Statrt Menu shortcuts into subdirectories, the YouTube links wont open the Streaming Media player. I can still copy the links and paste them into the player and it works fine...did I screw something up by moving the shortcuts?

Thanks!

StoageCard

I have tried all the recommendations posted here, with no luck.

If you try to DL something large with IE, it will not prompt WHERE to save the file, is automatically saves it to the device.

Not a problem, just odd.

I was reading somewhere that BT Tethering your mobile device is not allowed in WM6? True/False?

I manually installed voicecommand like an oem install into the windows directory and noticed that my device is taking longer to do things. I believe it is because there are so many files in the windows directory. If this is the case, when new/custom roms are created, is it possible to install each app in it's own directory under the program files folder like a regular cab install would? Just thinking of a new kitchen design.

It solved my problems with it, excepting a lockup on the YouTube main (non-mobile) page. I'm now using the YouTube Pocket site instead (http://www.ytpocket.com) and no lockups, with full search functions and even instructions on installing and optimizing TCPMP.

My remaining problem is the phone setting itself to vibrate mode, which I see some others are having also. My question is whether this can be tied to the apparent lack of locking of the volume slider while the phone is "locked" -- meaning we're accidentally putting it into vibrate mode ourselves -- or whether it's the "automatic" ringer mode of the HTC Home plug-in silencing the phone even though we've got the ringer setting on "normal." I'm going to be tinkering with some settings to see if I can narrow it down. Please post if you have more input on this. (A complicating issue for me is my Photo Contacts Pro installation, which could also be a factor in this.)

Dude! thanks for the youtube Pocket link, i could not for the life of me remember what it was after i up'd to wm6.

I too have had the 'revert to vibrate' issue a time or two and have no idea what sparks this event, i'm curious to hear others' input.
