I'm using PocketCM's threaded feature. And i think I like it better than the Palm app! The notifications are the same & it allows you to change the read/unread state so that they won't just sit in the standard SMS app unread. ... The color coding is nice. And, of course, the finger scrolling is great too. If only there was a way to map the text MSG button on the HTC home app to open PocketCM, that would just seal it for me! But, right now, I'm cool without the Palm App. Try it!

Just make sure that if you use the PocketCM program you dont have the Palm app installed. I think that is the reason that it only tells you about sent messages. Because I think the palm app stores them differently.
I have yet to try and install the program without the palm app (because I love it too much to see it go JK |

for not it look like you have to go thru pocketcm. I've made the suggestion that they break this sms program out into a stand alone app, we'll see where that goes though. i'll admit it's annoying that it doesnt default to it.
