Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 ROM 4 Apache
Have you tried just flashing a different radio? The Touch Pro section has multiple radios for the Touch Pro, I wonder if the Apache also has some radios somewhere you can re-flash.

Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 ROM 4 Apache
I did attempt a flash upgrade of the radio, previously, to v1.43 but it gave me an error code
http://drop.io/apache143 I forget which one right now, either 120 country code or maybe 115 wrong update for my phone (I think) UPDATE (9/1/09): I tried the radio ROM Update again, in case I had erred as I did when trying to update the phone ROM - and I had - the same idiot had been at the controls I suspect that this is because I have a fried radio (hardware). I suspect this because on the boot screen it says R NONE. Anyone have any ideas or comments? I'm open to any and all. Last edited by ffresh; 09-01-2009 at 02:03 PM. |

Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 ROM 4 Apache
You probably need to install an MMS cab for your carrier since this ROM is carrier neutral, that's my guess. There's probably one floating around the other ROM threads.

Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 ROM 4 Apache
Very nice, flashing right now. Any chance of a Sprint version? If so I just may un-retire my apache.

Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 ROM 4 Apache
No problems it runs fine, I asked that while I was flashing so I wasn't sure on compatability yet. I can't say everything works as my apache isn't my phone anymore, but I've been thinking about going back to it, normal phones bore me after my apache.

Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 ROM 4 Apache
I'm on verizon and this ROM seems to be working okay, but if I dial #DATA or *611 or anything I hear a "Hi! Thanks for calling Alltel!" message. Is this a result of this ROM? Do I need a Verizon specific one or what? I'm also having trouble receiving text messages with it.
EDIT: It also seems like *228 is dialing Alltel's programming, not Verizon's Last edited by lanteau; 09-07-2009 at 02:57 AM. |

Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 ROM 4 Apache
just tried to re activate my apache now it wont accept their programming (##msl#) anymore. Can someone verify this working on theirs?
Edit: Nevermind, they just needed to enter the MDN and MSID, I called in after going into ##778# and pretended I was in whatever menu they wanted, all worked out. Still dunno what happened to the ##MSL# command, though. Treats it like a regular phone number. Last edited by pio_masaki; 09-09-2009 at 10:41 AM. Reason: Played pretend with Sprint reps. |
