Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 ROM 4 Apache

Hey PDAPhone, how are the new ROMs coming? I have tried flashing both ROMs you posted. One ends up being an Error 150 (wrong for device) and the other is Error 120 (Country ID). When I go into bootloader, it says I have v1.02 on the bottom. Is there a chance when I reverted from v1.04 to v1.02, it just changed what was displayed on the screen, but didn't actually change the bootloader? Any help is greatly appreciated. You seem to be one of the only people that actually posts replies on here. Thanks.

For those of you with Country ID errors, there is no rhyme or reason to this. This error happened to me once on an Apache after flashing it to CricKet. Anyhow, you need to revert the "new bootloader" to v2.02, or if you have a 1.xx device it would be v1.02

Also, if you run into issues please follow my flashing guides found in my signature. Should you require more help, sned me a message.

Thanks, and the the ROMs will be up in a bit...
I am kindof new to this thing, so i will do my best to describe my prob.

I got an xv6700 and tried flashing it with the 6.1 helmi 1.02 bootloader. My bootloader is 2.05. That bricked it and i am trying this rom. I get the 120 eroor with the 2.05 rom. How do i revert the bootloader?

Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 ROM 4 Apache

Thanks so much. It was fairly easy to install and it works great. The only problem I noticed is that I cannot send MMS. I will play with that later.

Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 ROM 4 Apache

If you have Alltel there is a thread around here somewhere about that, apperntly something over this last week changed with that. BTW sMMS is only for Sprint users.

Okay, here is the thread, http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=101526 I found it in the Vogue forums. But it should work. I'm not on Alltel so I don't follow them but I happen to see this thread. Hope it works for you.

PDAPhoneJunkie, how are the new ROMs you mentioned earlier in this thread coming along? I have tried flashing both ROMs you posted. One ends up being an Error 150 (wrong for device) and the other is Error 120 (Country ID). I have bootloader v1.02. Any suggestions?

Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 ROM 4 Apache

After upgrading to 6.5, I noticed that one of the default phone ringers (that had been there in 5.0 and 6.1) is gone. It was called OldPhone. I don't where default ringers are stored in Windows Mobile, otherwise I'd pull that one from one of my WM5 or WM6.1 backups. Anyone know how to restore it?
