Apache WM6 CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2)

GOOD GRIEF!!!! I have spent 2 hours now trying to get the stupid wm6 rom to work and it turns out it's because the incredibly lame "2.05 bootloader" is on my phone!!!!!!! I CAN'T INSTALL WM6 WITH 2.05 BOOTLOADER?!??!?!? LAMMEEEE

I only found this post: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=33076 that tells me how to downgrade my bootloader but it's wayyy too complicated and I run more of a risk of bricking my phone.

So, is that the only way to downgrade my bootloader, and if it is, is there any other way to get wm6 on my phone with this lame bootloader??

And you're LAME for trying to use this old ROM. I just love how people dig up these way old outdated threads. C'mon, this ROM was built when the apache had v1.00/v1.02 bootloader. Since you're a noob to these devices the phone you bought has the newest AKU3.3 WM5 junk rom. With that also came the new bootloader. We now use the kitchen which supports all bootloaders. This rom is buggy! USE THE KITCHEN!
