I installed the files today, and it worked GREAT. But I have been having some other problems before I installed the ROM, hoping this might fix it. Well after talking with Verizion about the problems, they are sending me a new phone.

Is there anyway to uninstall this from the phone? I would like to put it back to WM5 for when I ship it back to them... just incase

Any help would be appreciated.. I hate for them to try and charge me for the phone claiming the WM6 ROM is what killed the phone.

FYI: It does run WM6 fine, but it has "other" issues ](*,)

Go to www.utstar.com into the PDA section and download the latest verizon update. If you can't find it there look here in the regular Apache forum for a post about the Verizon AKU 3.3 update. You can download that and flash it onto your Apache to return it to "stock".

this is the same thing that keeps happening to me, but not when i get an incoming phone call. it happens to me every single time my battery completely drains out of power. its extremely annoying because every time i have to reinstall WM6 and put my contacts back on from my backup, but then i lose any numbers i've gotten since my last backup. any solutions? it gets stuck during boot at the green Windows Mobile screen. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I ran the kitchen and it stopped on "copying to RUU folder" and never updated from there....am I missing something....please help. Thanks

Flash to Cricket

Little help here, please.
Currently on Cricket, in South Texas, using Moto SLVR.
Purchased xv6700, am interested in flashing from Verizon to Cricket.
Main question, do i flash to Cricket first, then upgrade from WinMo 5 to 6?
Or...do i upgade to WinMo 6 first, then flash to Cricket?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

ActiveSync is not a general backup/restore utility. Voice prompts are one of many things that Activesync does not know about.

You are probably out of drive space, and are using an older kitchen. Upgrade to the 071117 kitchen and try again.

Freeze after a week or two

thought i entered correct NAM settings, gave ESN to cricket...unable to activate.
seems it doesnt want to find a tower.
is it possible to check the radio on my shiny new brick?
