Re: How to flash the HTC Apache
Thanks again for the video tutorials. They helped a lot. I did however run into a problem. I hit the play button (to create the build), and right at the very end it said "Running RUU" or something along those lines. Then it said that it was 'This application has failed to start because RAPI.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.' I'm pretty sure that the program installed correctly, so it must be something that I did. One thing I did notice was that I didn't have my phone plugged in when I hit play, but in your video, you didn't need to plug your phone in until later in the process.
Any ideas? EDIT: I don't get this error if I select the RUU of NoID, and it opens up the window like it is going to upgrade the phone, but when I proceed, it says it is done (after 5 seconds) without really doing anything. Last edited by TheRealKornbread; 10-29-2008 at 06:55 PM. |

Re: How to flash the HTC Apache
Ok. After many more hours of research, and experimentation, I figured out what the problem is. Activesync was not installed properly. Activesync is required in order to flash the OS. After a re-install of Activesync everything worked properly.

Re: How to flash the HTC Apache
Yes it is. I'm going to be making a longer more complete video soon. Windows Mobile device needs to be installed on Vista.
