Re: Apache WM6.1 Build 20755 kitchen
Yes, this is the Manila plug-in. Here is my advice for that though. DONT USE it unless you want your phone to be as slow as piss from an old man with prostate issues. The Manila plug in looks cool when you get it working, but it offers ZERO benefit. You wont be able to use YouTube, since it requires more free RAM than what you will have after installing the 9 items you need for Manila. And for the rest of the stuff that works, they work about 50% of the time and then crash you back to the today screen. If you like the graphics, just get the SPB Mobile shell and then download the Manila skin from xda-developers. Dont bother with the SPB mobile shell that is built into BuildOS, it will come up immediately expired. Download the trial straight from SPB. I actually purchased it because I like it so much.

Re: Apache WM6.1 Build 20755 kitchen
Verizon XV 6700 with build 20755 and minimal add ons. Phone can access internet through VZ even when i have wifi turned off (or no wifi signal) and it's not connected to my computer's DSL. considering i have a pay as you go data plan, this is not a good thing. I'm using the 10 button comm manager if that's important and I can't figure out how to permanently disable the data connection button the way i can everything else. Any ideas?
Other than the huge data bill I'm trying to talk my way out of the only problem i've had was a non-working camera (button didn't connect to anything and there was no program installed) but I think it was because I didn't select one. time to reflash. I had a tough time (4 hrs worth) getting Build OS to work but finally did (Vista 64 laptop). Too bad I didn't take any notes on what went wrong. The flash process (my first try at this type of thing other than a brief hack of my old RAZR to improve battery life) went pretty smoothly. Great work, guys. I'll send you some love and $$ when i can. -E fixed it: got the nodata cab that i saw in the build. ![]() Last edited by elfrex; 10-23-2008 at 02:48 PM. |

Missing from where? What makes you think it should exist?

Re: Apache WM6.1 Build 20755 kitchen
welp, I ran this all week. with a very basic build. only the Had a few issues with MSVC and bluetooth in the beginning. but they disappeared after a day or so. ran the stock 6.1 mms app. that was extremely sluggish at times, but worked ok.
Only think I didn't like was battery time. I am hoping that was a lack of my usual task manager. I am trying a more complete rom now. we'll see... |
