Again, today, same problem, used the phone for about an hour, then on my last call, the dreaded beep (battery low). Just wondering on the magic combo, just would like someone who is getting 3+ hours talk time and 26+ hours of standby with 6.1 to post their config file, so I can try it, to see if there is something that I missed that might help here.... This is me right now

Re: 6.1 Battery Issue
david,
post ur selections, ur separately installed apps, u startup services and today plugins...sometimes the only way to figure out the problem is the hard way... also do u use the htc performance app? also what radio version are u using and what's your carrier? Do you have any apps that connect while on standby to update (today plugins, rss readers, etc), how many bars on average do u get and are in an 1x or evdo area? Have you enabled these battery tweaks that can be found here? http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...65&postcount=2 Also if u want to try this and see if it works try, I personally didn't notice much of a battery difference but add this registry key under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows CE Services DefaultNpwNoServer : REG_DWORD and set it to 1. Explanation can be found on this page http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms861416.aspx Last edited by saqer; 04-10-2008 at 02:59 PM. |

Re: 6.1 Battery Issue
wow! Cant believe you have to do all those things to get your ppc to live. I must have gotten lucky with my Touch cuz even without all those tweaks my ppc lasts about all day. Maybe consider a bew battery.
